The Programme Manager is a newly created Permanent role designed to support the Account Director in the day-to-day management of the Genesis Delivery Team. This role will also deputise for the Account Director in his absence and on specific forums as required. This role sits between the Account Director and the Project Managers running the various Projects.

This is a crucial role, requiring the holder to be proficient Financially as well as Technically, with a high Delivery capability. The holder will be familiar and competent in creating Forecasts and in managing Daily Profit & Loss and reporting Daily, Weekly or Monthly as required as well as producing Operational Delivery reports on performance across a number of Projects.

Ideally, the role holder will spend 3 to 4 days a week in the office working closely with the Senior Management Team based in the Huntingdon Office.

The holder will have 10+ experience in a Mobile Telecoms background, having led teams of Project Managers, Coordinators, Field Engineers providing Project related services to Tier 1 customer base covering Survey & Design services, RAN, Core Network DICI & Upgrade solutions.

The Programme Manager will work closely with the Project Planning Manager and the Project Managers and hold weekly / bi-weekly calls with the Project Managers and wider team ensuring that all matters relating to the smooth delivery of Projects are discussed accordingly and that resource requirements are managed in accordance with growth.

The Programme Manager will also support the Account Director in discussions relating to future strategy and in developing the Delivery business, ensuring the implementation of solutions resulting from strategy sessions.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

* Responsible for leading a team of Project Managers / Project Planning Manager
* This is a Technical, Commercial and Delivery focused role
* Responsible for supporting Project Managers achieve Account wise Delivery P&Ls (CoDs & CoGs)
* Participate in Monthly Forecasting, Month End Invoicing and Commercial Review sessions with the Genesis Commercial Management Team
* On occasions the Programme Manager will support the Senior Account Director on pre-sales RFP and bid opportunities, lending shared experience and expertise in potential new business
* Strive in identifying best practice and rolling out across Delivery as part of a Business Improvement Plan
* Attend Client Escalation calls as required to address perceived poor quality of service issues and work with PM to create an action plan to improve service
* Control of budgeted expenditures
* Compliance to Statutory and QHSE requirements related to contracts
* Creating knowledge base for key processes & maximizing automation of processes
* Develop succession planning within the Delivery Organisation
* Procurement of Delivery in coordination with Procurement or SCM Manager
* Oversee resource management in coordination with Project Planning Manager
* Project planning for business continuity

Additional Information
